The 3,000-strikeout club has only 20 members and 17 of them have signed this incredible sheet. A pitcher would have to average 200 strikeouts for 15 seasons to join this exclusive list. Bob Gibson reached 3,000 strikeouts in 1974, the first pitcher in more than 50 years to reach the mark. All-time strikeout leader Nolan Ryan remains the only pitcher with more than 5,000 strikeouts. Oddly, Cesar Geronimo was strikeout victim No. 3,000 for both Gibson and Ryan. In all, the 17 men on this list have struck out 62,804 batters!
