Mother Teresa
Mother Teresa, born in 1910 in Macedonia, was a Catholic nun known for her selfless service to the poor in Kolkata, India. She founded the Missionaries of Charity, dedicating her life to caring for the sick, orphaned, and dying. Her compassion and humility earned global admiration. Awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, she became a symbol of charitable love. Canonized as Saint Teresa in 2016, her legacy continues to inspire humanitarian efforts worldwide. She is arguably the greatest woman in the 1980’s and 1990’s.
