Sport Magazine NFL 40th Anniversary All-Time Pro Team

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the NFL, Sport magazine polled 32 sportswriters to vote for the “All-Time All-Pro Team.” All of the honorees signed this incredible page. Because the NFL of 1960 featured far more running plays than that of today, the poll included three running backs — Steve Van Buren, Bronko Nagurski and Dutch Clark — against one quarterback, Sammy Baugh, and one “end” or receiver, Don Hutson. The remainder of the team included tackle Lou Groza, center Mel Hein and guards Sam Huff and Danny Fortmann.
