Saint John Paul II

Saint Pope John Paul II, born Karol Józef Wojtyła in 1920 in Poland, served as pope from 1978 to 2005. He was the first non-Italian pope in over 450 years and played a huge role in ending communism in Eastern Europe. Known for his deep spirituality, global outreach, and promotion of human rights, he traveled worldwide to spread messages of peace and faith. Canonized in 2014, he remains a beloved figure in the Catholic Church and beyond. He is arguably the greatest man in the second half of the 20th Century.

To my dear Priest,
John Twardowski,

I extend my heartfelt thanks
For the tome “who creates berries”
and for its dedication. Since the
dedication includes a petition for
prayer, I likewise ask for it.

And faithfully – as ever – I will
read it with complete satisfaction!

The Good Pastor
Has Risen
Alleluia!

With my blessing
John Paul II pope
